Public transport operator SMRT needs to be upfront about how it uses personal data collected with body cameras worn by bus fare inspectors and the duration such information is stored

People are being watched and increasingly by body-worn cameras.

Since 2015, Singapore police officers have been using such cameras to help with the gathering of evidence for investigations.
